Apex Circuit Design

Clive Bowen was commissioned in 2001 to undertake the detailed design of a temporary street circuit in Sharjah, working with Halcrow Engineering, which included the design of a new FIA approved concrete road barrier. Clive Bowen specified the services required to host an FIA sanctioned Motorsport event including; emergency services, traffic control, helicopter facilities, crisis communication policy, on-site medical services, marshal training and equipment and a myriad other details which differentiate this project from a more conventional and straightforward civil design and build project.
