Apex was commissioned in 2008 to design “the world’s best” international kart circuit. Working with Ridge & Partners LLP, as lead consultants, and Scott Wilson, Apex designed a 1.4km, topographically challenging, environmentally sound, value engineered track over 4.7m of grade change. The design exceeds CIK category ‘A’ standards.

Now forming part of the @Bahrain development, a world-class commerce, entertainment and education facility adjacent to the Bahrain International Circuit, the  project has progressed to the construction phase under the experienced hands of Cebarco Bahrain, who were responsible for the construction of the adjacent F1 circuit in 2004. Apex and Scott Wilson’s contribution to the project continues throughout 2010 in a technical and CIK conformance supporting role to the team. The facility is due to be operational by 2011 and will be operated by the Bahrain International Circuit.
