Project Evaluation
We can provide our clients with an initial project evaluation service to establish outline commercial and practicalfeasibility.
A project evaluation is undertaken by a member of the Apex design team and this includes a report offering recommendations and a strategy for progressing the project.
Initial site visit
Apex recommend an initial site inspection to take place at project commencement.
A member of our design team would visit the proposed project site or sites to evaluate size, boundaries, access, services, topography, adjacencies and constraints.
Prior to making the site inspection, in order to gain the maximum value from the visit, we would have carried out a study of the site including analysis of satellite imagery and CAD drawings provided by the client.
Project evaluation report
We issue a report following each site visit which includes an outline schematic site plan; this is a crucial fi rst stage to any project and includes recommendations on how the project should progress.
We work in conjunction with architectural and engineering partners to identify core elements of a plan, proposed adjacencies between motorsport and commercial entities and we also produce architectural schemes to accommodate the requirements of a motorsport destination; these include pitlane, grandstands, hospitality, race control, offices and media buildings.
The report can also include outline designs for the circuit(s), preliminary architectural schemes for buildings, a basic cost report and an outline feasibility evaluation. It will also include recommendations for the site uses and opportunities and a strategy for motorsport at the destination.
