Master Planning

Masterplan-Apex-Iceland-MotoparkMasterplan-Apex-HOK-DubaiMasterplan-Apex-Circuit-Design-Ridge-Eastern-CreekOnce a client has established a commercial model for a project we work with our architectural and engineering partners to create a master plan and report. The report includes an overview of the design theory, proposed circuit designs, architectural layouts and land use strategies.

The master plan hero images are valuable commercial tools for marketing our projects and increasing public awareness of a project.

We actively promote the notion that land value created from the commercial and leisure development around a motorsport venue should contribute towards the capital cost of building that venue.

Our master plans present circuit design including paddock areas, pitlane buildings, estimated track run off, safety barriers and show the basic requirements.

Master plans integrate input from the whole design team, including architecture and landscape.

A master plan and report is a crucial commercial tool and should be treated as a live and frequently updated document that looks forward by 15 to 25 years, even if a client is looking only to deliver on preliminary phases of such a development.

Any circuit shown on our master plans will have received FIA/FIM/CiK feedback (as appropriate) and may include simulation analysis to ensure a reliable broad order of quantities can be defi ned to accommodate the needs of all safety related materials for the outline designs.

We have been commissioned to contribute to or lead design on several major international motorsport master plans such as Dubai Autodrome (UAE), Iceland Motopark (Iceland), Abu Dhabi International Shooting Club (UAE), Silverstone (UK), Alabama Motorsports Park (USA) and Rio Jacarepagua (Brazil).
