Homologation support services
As part of our project management service we also act as the liaison between our clients, the FIA, FIM or CiK (as appropriate) and their country representatives (the ASN) to ensure the construction of the motorsport facility meets ongoing requirements for official sanction and approval. This service reduces potential remedial costs, increases the quality of the finished circuit and ensures a satisfactory relationship between the circuit operator and the regulator.
Our experience demonstrates that, in addition to the need for a homologation inspection at the conclusion of build, it is practical and advisable to have pre-homologation inspections during the early stages of track construction so that any issues, such as sight lines or barrier positions can be optimised prior to construction, thereby removing the costly remedial works often required at the time of final track inspection.
We maintain a close liaison with the regulatory bodies and take an active role in promoting the application of proven new strategies, materials and construction to enhance safety at our circuits.
