Design dossiers for FIA/FIM/CiK homologation

Design dossiers for FIA/FIM/CiK homologation 1Design dossiers for FIA/FIM/CiK homologation 2Design dossiers for FIA/FIM/CiK homologation 3Following client approval of a circuit layout we prepare a detailed homologation dossier for approval by the regulatory motorsport bodies.

Our core competence is the engineering of challenging FIA, CiK and FIM approved race circuits that maximise the use of natural topography. We use a variety of CAD design software packages and simulation techniques to develop optimised models for race circuits.

We always ensure our track designs are unique, technically challenging, visually appealing, effi cient in land use and meet all regulatory and operational needs. We seek input from different consultant driver and rider teams for each project to ensure a unique ‘feel’ to each project.

On completion of detailed design we issue a full FIA/FIM/ CiK homologation dossier (as appropriate). The dossier will not only consist of the regulatory technical content but also provide our clients with a design report which can be used for defining operational and control systems, for presenting to potential visiting race series, investors and to new clients to demonstrate that the design has been approved by the appropriate motorsport regulatory bodies.

The dossier report includes content such as sight line analysis, design theory, building layout plans, track permutations and, of course, the techincal drawings required for review by the FIA/FIM or CiK.

We work with our civil engineering partners to produce drawings for construction.

Homologation dossiers contain engineering design which contribute towards the final design and subsequent tender documentation but the designs contained within our dossiers do not constitute construction drawings; the information we provide will be in a format to permit our civil engineering partners to prepare construction and tender documentation.
