About Apex Circuit Design Ltd.
Apex, established and run by Clive Bowen, is an internationally recognised motorsport circuit design facility and motorsport consultancy initially set up in 1997 as MERS, formally incorporated in the British Virgin Islands in 2001 and subsequently incorporated in the United Kingdom as Apex Circuit Design Ltd., registered number: 5326347. Apex’s business activities are provided to clients worldwide either directly or through partnership associations.
The primary business of Apex is the design of FIA, FIM and CIK approved racing facilities, working in association with world class architects, civil engineering consultants and financial advisors to create commercially viable motorsport destinations.
Apex provides a bespoke service to its clients whereby the process of design is integrated with the masterplanning process for the whole client site, working in conjunction with the client’s commercial decision makers and consultants on the project to maximise revenue streams.
Core to Apex project philosophy is our emphasis on working with a functional, feasible business model whereby maximum capital value can be extracted from a site, utilising motorsport as a core attraction.
Apex can provide a client with a post-design, pre-operational consultancy service with new motorsport circuit facilities to ensure the preparation of the circuit, capital plant, personnel and equipment meets the needs of an operator once the circuit is fully commissioned.
Apex has formal associations with, and if required can draw resource from, Schreiner Consulting GmbH, Eventual Design Ltd., Atkins plc, Halcrow Engineering, HOK Sport Architecture, Ridge Architects, Davis Langdon, D G Jones and Buro Happold. Apex provides all technical personnel for its clients as required for motorsport destination projects
