Apex Circuit Design Ltd to join MIA
Apex Circuit Design Ltd. is pleased to announce it has become a member of the UK’s leading trade association for Motorsport, The MIA (Motorsport Industry Association).
The MIA, established in 1994 by Brian Sims, now has over 300 members, all of which are dedicated motorsport companies and who all work towards the continued development of the UK motorsport industry and to expand motorsport business opportunities. As an MIA member, Apex Circuit Design will be part of a key networking group including Formula One teams, motorsport manufacturers, designers and consultants. The MIA also has UK government support, acting as the voice of its members and the UK motorsport industry to increase awareness, support and to provide accurate information on motorsport related topics and projects.
Apex Circuit Design is an internationally recognised motorsport circuit design and land development consultancy, established in 2001 by Clive Bowen. The primary business of Apex Circuit Design is the design of FIA, FIM and CiK approved racing facilities, working in association with world-class architects, engineering consultants and land developers to create commercially viable motorsport destinations.
Apex Circuit Design’s philosophy on motorsport is very much paired with that of the MIA. Both believe in supporting and developing higher education to strengthen the future of motorsport. Both look always to create new business opportunities and to network globally and both are supporters of the appropriate development of the sport and the industry.
Chris Aylett, CEO of the MIA, commented on this news; “I am delighted that Apex Circuit Design, a world class circuit design company, has joined the MIA. The UK has built up unique and valuable knowledge of the operation and successful design of race circuits over the years and this is now winning new business all over the world. Apex Circuit Design continues in that fine tradition.
As motorsport reaches into new areas of the world and touches new markets then sound professional and operational advice is vital – well before investment begins in making the sporting dream become reality. Apex Circuit Design has access, through their MIA membership, to an unequalled business community of motorsport knowledge and this will, in turn, benefit their clients. I wish them every success and all at the MIA stand ready to help them achieve that.”
Clive Bowen, Managing Director of Apex Circuit Design responded; “I’ve been an active member of the MIA for a number of years and am now very pleased to bring Apex Circuit Design into the association. Our clients will benefit from the introduction to other MIA members and international exposure through the MIA. Our connections with emerging motorsport industries around the World can only be enhanced by the MIA’s broad reach and quality of membership.”
