The proposed new off road circuit comprises three 4x4 tracks and a number of quad biking trails, which will test both amateur and skilled drivers’ skills on a variety of rough and challenging terrains.

The off-road course forms part of a larger motorsports complex currently being built to the south of the Russian capital. This complex consists of Russia’s first FIA Category 2 race track which, in 2010, will host the country’s first ever FIA GT1 World Championship round.

Guy Austin, partner at Ridge comments: “Ridge is renowned for our long-standing involvement and experience in the UK motorsports industry and this is now extending overseas with our motorsports work with Apex. Being chosen to work within the vibrant Russian motorsports industry is a huge privilege and positions Ridge and Apex as experts in the field.”

Clive Bowen, Managing Director at Apex followed: “Over the past ten years Apex has developed a reputation for designing commercially viable and entertaining motorsport destinations and we are delighted to be able to do so again on this exciting project in Moscow. Our association with Ridge now allows us to provide a higher level of offer to our international clients to cover design, engineering, architecture, planning and project management.”
